MEETING YOUR
QUALITY REQUIREMENTS

IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY

Quality Assurance Department

Our QA department is staffed with highly trained and experienced personnel and is expertly equipped with a comprehensive collection of certified inspection equipment. Our state-of-the-art 3D measuring systems are extremely accurate with .00002” scale resolution. These machines can be programmed with auto-run routines for repetitive inspection and make measuring complex parts and high volumes accurate and efficient.

Step 1: Developing a QA Plan

Two independent reviews of the purchase order is where our QA process begins. We determine if there are questions or conflicts regarding dimensions, material, quantities, or delivery dates. The print is then reviewed by experienced personnel involved in both set up and production. If needed, additional CAD drawings are created for clarity during the production process. Individual inspection reports for each operation are then generated. All special needs and instructions are documented and inspection intervals are then assigned based on tolerances, quantities, and complexity of the part.

Step 2: Executing the QA Plan

Forming a good QA plan and then executing that plan is critical in our ability to produce quality parts that meet or exceed our customers needs. The following implemented procedures assure that this is accomplished:

  • Receiving material inspection and certification
  • Internal first article, interval, and final inspection reports
  • Sampling plan per ANSI/ASQC Z 1.4-1993 or higher when needed
  • Receiving vendor inspection report and certification
  • AS9102 compliant first article inspection reports as needed
  • Inspection equipment maintained with strict calibration system
  • Compliance to all procedures per OSP Quality Control Manual (MIL-I-45208 )

Documentation

All job specific records, inspection reports, and certifications (such as NACE, or NADCAP compliance) are available upon request by the customer.
