WHAT IS CNC MACHINING?

CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machining is a subtractive method of manufacturing to create a desired shape. It removes material with computer controlled machines using a wide variety of cutting tools to create the final design. There is a wide variety of CNC machining methods which include lathes, mills, and swiss type lathes.

PRECISION PARTS
CNC machines are digitally programmed and their high-tech components are designed to repeat positions with extreme accuracy. Tolerances of +/-.0002 of an inch are consistently executed. The automation also eliminates human error that is common with conventional machining even with the most skilled operators.
SCALABILITY
Once the part design has been programmed and a prototype has been created and inspected, the program is available at any time to create the exact part over and over again. This process allows the flexibility to produce quantities of 1 to 100,000 in a uniform and cost effect manner.
